Ngày 09/04/2018, TS. Phan Thành Nam (hiện đang làm việc tại đại học Munich, Đức) đã có buổi làm việc với Khoa Toán - Thống kê và đã có bài báo cáo về đề tài "Recent progress on ionization problem and related questions".

Tóm tắt bài báo: The conjecture states that a neutral atom can bind at most one or two extra electrons. While it is well-known experimentally, proving this fact rigorously from first principles of quantum mechanics is one of the most challenging problems in mathematical physics. I will discuss some recent results on this problem and related questions.
