UNIVERSITY ADMISSION INFORMATION FOR THE 2018-2019 ACADEMIC YEAR
In the 2018-2019 academic year, the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics enrolls two undergraduate majors: Applied Mathematics and Statistics.
When studying at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, students will:
- Study courses taught by lecturers with Master's and PhD degrees studying abroad, with 60% to 70% of the curriculum taught in English, including some courses taught directly by foreign lecturers.
- Two courses taught outside the University by agencies and enterprises.
- Excellent students will enjoy some preferential policies when studying for a master's degree at the University.
- Third and fourth year students will have the opportunity to participate in the 4+1 program, in which students can register to study some courses of the master's program even if they have not graduated from university. After graduating from university, students only need to study for 1 more year to get a Master's degree, which means it only takes 5 years instead of 6 years (4 years of university and 2 years of graduate school).

+ Based on high school exam results: A00 and A01 for both majors.
+ Based on 5 semesters and 6 semesters results: Literature, Math, Physics, English.
- Expected number of students to be admitted: 60 to 80 students.
