A. Admission programs.

1. Standard program.

1.1 Applied Mathematics

1.1.1. Introduction

Applied Mathematics not only provides students with modern mathematical knowledge, but also equips them with some basic computational skills. Graduates of Mathematics can do jobs related to machine learning, artificial intelligence, jobs that require analysis, simulation calculations or can teach Mathematics - Information Technology subjects at colleges as well as mathematical thinking centers.

1.1.2. Career opportunities

Bachelor of Applied Mathematics graduates are capable of teaching Mathematics at all levels and working in fields such as data analysis, quantitative finance, insurance analysis, data analysis for economic sectors and have the opportunity to work in technology fields or economic sectors that require mathematical thinking.

1.2 Statistics 

1.1.1. Introduction

The Statistics major provides students with basic knowledge of classical and modern Statistics, and moreover equips students with some practical skills on professional Statistics software such as Excel, R, Minitab, SPSS, etc.

1.1.2. Career opportunities

Statistics graduates will have the opportunity to work in Statistical Offices & Branches as well as companies in data analysis, insurance, stock analysis or teach in colleges or mental math centers.

B. Admission method

- The Faculty will recruit students according to the general method of the University. The expected admission plan of the University is posted in detail here.

- Candidates can refer to some admission information for the 2019-2020 school year as follows (common for both majors):

+ Admission combination: Literature, Math, English, Physics (Math multiplied by coefficient 2).

+ Condition: Math score >=7.

+ Standard score for the 2019-2020 school year: 24 points.
