Students from the FMS, TDTU continue to make their mark at the 2026 National Mathematical Olympiad
On the morning of April 11, 2026, the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the 32nd National Mathematics Olympiad took place at Quy Nhon University – concluding a challenging and inspiring academic competition. The competition attracted 90 delegations from universities and academies nationwide, with a total of 661 participating students. This is a prestigious academic platform connecting the community of mathematics-loving students across the country, while also discovering and nurturing young mathematical talents.
Following their first participation in 2025, this year (2026) marks the second year that students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Ton Duc Thang University, have participated in the competition. With serious preparation and a high spirit of learning, the Faculty's student delegation achieved impressive results:
+ 1 Second Prize in Calculus (Tran Quoc Cong).
+ 2 Third Prizes in Algebra (Tran Quoc Cong and Pham Tram Anh).




These results demonstrate the significant progress of students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics after just one year of participating in this major academic competition. The achievements in this year's competition are not only a source of pride for the winning students but also contribute to affirming the quality of training at the Faculty and the University, while also showing the correct direction in improving teaching quality, nurturing talented students, and encouraging academic research.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, the 2027 National Mathematics Olympiad is expected to be held in Quang Nam. With the results achieved, the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Ton Duc Thang University, promises to continue to promote the spirit of learning and research, ready for future Olympiad seasons.
MESSAGE: To all students, especially first and second-year students:
+ Be bold and register to participate in the qualifying round to select the team (expected in September 2026).
You are all very young and have many opportunities; be proactive, challenge yourselves, and explore your limits.
