On August 19, 2024, the AARG research group organized a seminar with presentations from lecturers and students of the Faculty of Mathematics - Statistics.
The topics reported at the seminar include:
Report 1
Presenter : Dr. Le Truong Nhat
Title: A Bayesian approach to evaluating the association between sensitive attribute and auxiliary variable under randomized response technique
Summary: Using the Bayesian method to select the appropriate model to estimate the overall proportion of sensitive attributes. Sensitive data are collected using the randomized response technique.
Report 2
Presenter: Dr. Nguyen Le Toan Nhat Linh
Title: Calculus with fuzzy numbers
Summary: The report presents how to build analytical concepts for fuzzy numbers and the ability to apply them to other areas of mathematics such as: differential equations, partial derivatives and statistical probability
Report 3
Presenters: Ly Truong Giang, Khuu Tan Dat
Title: The existence of solutions to nonlocal nonlinear elliptic equations
Summary: The report will talk about the existence of solutions to equations from basic to more general, ending with equations with nonlocal operators.
