On May 22, 2024, the Faculty of Mathematics - Statistics organized the final round of the "Mathematics Competition: Theory and Applications" for students of the Faculty. Participating in the competition are students who achieved high scores in the qualifying round of the competition and are divided into 5 teams.

The competition was very fierce, with teams comparing scores for each question. In addition to the first-place team with a quite superior score, the two teams with the same score had to determine second and third place with a series of quite attractive secondary questions. The two teams that won consolation prizes were also very commendable as their team's scores and the scores of the second and third place teams were very close.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the first, second, and third-place teams and consolation prizes as well as medals to the individuals with the highest scores in the qualifying round.
