ANNOUNCEMENT: Registration for Student Scientific Research – 2026-2027 Academic Year
Below is information regarding Student Scientific Research for the 2026-2027 academic year for interested students:
1. INFORMATION ON STUDENT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH 2026-2027
- Purpose: To create an environment for students to access and familiarize themselves with research.
- Participants: All students.
- Content: Students will conduct a research project under the guidance of a faculty supervisor.
- Key milestones:
+ From now until 11:00 AM on October 5, 2026: Student registration (see registration instructions in section 2).
+ October–November 2026: Proposal review.
+ From December 2026 to May 2027: Project implementation (if approved).
- Tentative schedule for final project presentations/reviews:
+ Late May 2026: Faculty-level presentation/review.
+ July 2026: University-level presentation/review (if the project is nominated for this level).
+ Subsequent stages: Presentations/reviews at levels beyond the university (if nominated by the university).
- Benefits: In addition to gaining research experience, students may be recommended for bonus points toward their Graduation Thesis, Graduation Project, or substitute course if they achieve a high ranking (specifically, 3rd prize or higher at the university level). Projects ranking below the university-level 3rd prize are not eligible for bonus point recommendations.
2. REGISTRATION METHOD
- Registration format: Individual or group (maximum of 3 students).
Note: Final-year students may only register if collaborating with at least one student from a lower year. - Registration package download link: https://drive.google.com/
- Submission method: Submit both hard and soft copies:
+ Hard copies (submit to Mr. Thach – Room C126) include: 1) Registration form, 2) Outline.
+ Soft copies (email to Mr. Thach – tranngocthach@tdtu.edu.vn) include: 1) Word file of the registration form (no photo or signature required), 2) Word file of the outline (no photo or signature required).
- Submission deadline: From now until 11:00 AM on October 5, 2026.
