FMS Organizes a Seminar 26/10/2026

On the afternoon of June 28, 2026, the "Algebraic and Analytical Methods in Optimization (AAMO)" research group from the FMS hosted a seminar featuring a presentation titled "From Gradient Flows to Accelerated Algorithms: A Continuous–Discrete Dialogue" by Prof. Samir Adly from the University of Limoges, who also serves as the President of the French Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics.

Additionally, FMS organized a seminar for Dr. Vijay Kumar Vyas, lecturer of ICFAI University, Jaipur,  India, who presented on the topic: "Integral Transform Methods for Classical and q-Telegraph Equations."

The event was attended by a large number of lecturers and students, most notably the members of the Mathematics-Statistics Academic Club (MSAC). Below are some images from the seminar:
