In order to promote the love of mathematics and create opportunities for academic exchange for students, on the morning of December 8, 2024, the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics (FMS) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attended the Mathematics Open Day (MOD) 2024, held at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The event is a forum connecting mathematics lovers, scientists and representatives of universities across the country. This year's program attracted more than 5,000 students from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. At the booth of FMS - TDTU, many activities and games related to mathematics were organized such as: solving secret messages with mathematical questions, solving Sudoku puzzles, challenging geometry courses and building mathematical models on demand. These activities help participants practice logical thinking, problem-solving skills and increase their interest in mathematics. In addition, the open and lively atmosphere at the booth received attention and positive responses from students and parents.
