AARG Research Seminar 2026 – Seminar 3, 19/06/2026

On the morning of June 19, 2026, the Applied Analysis Research Group (AARG) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Ton Duc Thang University, held Seminar 3 in Meeting Room C. This was the final seminar in a series of three academic seminars for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The session took place from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education), and attracted a large number of lecturers, researchers, trainees, and students from various universities.

The scientific reports presented at the session included:

  1. Second-order Estimate for p-harmonic Functions with Variable Coefficients and Boundary Datum

    Speaker: Do Duc Tan (Vietnamese-German University).

  2. Gradient Estimates for the Heat Kernel of Schrödinger Operators

    Speaker: Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education).

  3. Diffusion Approximations for Fast–Slow Systems

    Speaker: Dr. Van Phung Truong Son (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM).

  4. Tính chất tồn tại toàn cục và không tồn tại toàn cục của nghiệm cho một số phương trình đạo hàm riêng

    Speaker: Dr. Quách Văn Chương (University of Information Technology).

  5. Regularity for Degenerate Matrix-Weighted p-Laplace Problems: A Nonlinear Cake Model ★

    Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Phuong (Ton Duc Thang University).

  6. Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) in Solving Differential Equations and a New Approach for Enhancing Reliability

    Speaker: Dr. Nguyen Trang Thao (Van Lang University).

The event was lively with many frank professional discussions, contributing to promoting opportunities for inter-university research collaboration and affirming the AARG research group's role in connecting academics within the applied mathematics community.
