The FMS signs a cooperation agreement with VPS Securities Joint Stock Company.

Within the framework of the first TDTU Career Fair 2026, the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Ton Duc Thang University, officially signed a cooperation agreement with VPS Securities Joint Stock Company – one of the reputable securities companies in Vietnam.

Representatives from both sides participating in the signing included:
🔹 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thanh Toan – Vice Dean in Charge of Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics
🔹 Mr. Do Thach Vu – Director of Investment Consulting, VPS Securities Joint Stock Company

This cooperation agreement is the starting point for a collaborative relationship between the Faculty and businesses in training, career guidance, and the development of high-quality human resources in the finance and data sector.

In the future, the two sides plan to jointly implement many activities for students such as:

✅ Create opportunities for students to participate in internships at businesses.
✅ Connecting and introducing suitable students to job openings.
✅ Partnering with the University and Faculty in training, career guidance, and professional skills development activities.

Notably, at the event, three students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics received scholarships from the company to encourage their academic achievements and personal development.

On the company side, VPS is currently one of the leading securities companies in Vietnam and was once again honored with the "Best Brokerage House in Vietnam 2025" award in the Triple A Awards system organized by The Asset.

The signing ceremony not only opened up more internship and job opportunities for students but also laid the foundation for long-term cooperation between the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics and the company in the future.
