On December 8, 2025, the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics (FMS) held a student dialogue combined with a seminar titled "The Mindset of Mathematics and Statistics Students in the Digital Transformation Era" and career entrepreneurship counseling for the 2025-2026 academic year.

 During the program, Assoc. Prof. Phan Thanh Toan - Vice Dean in Charge of FMS - discussed and advised students on academic matters, training, and career orientation. 

Representatives from VPS Securities Joint Stock Company also came to interact and share with students about job opportunities for Mathematics and Statistics graduates, especially in the securities field. The VPS delegation included:

• Mr. Do Thach Vu – Director of Investment Consulting

• Mr. Dang Tran Nguyen Phat – Investment Consultant

• Ms. Nguyen Hoang Huynh Hoa – Assistant Director of Investment Consulting

In addition, Dr. Nguyen Huu Can shared with students about the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning, clarifying its advantages, limitations, and how to use AI effectively and appropriately. 

The program also included time for representatives from functional units and the Mathematics and Statistics Academic Club to exchange ideas and answer students' questions.

The dialogue and discussion session took place in an open and practical atmosphere, helping students of the FMS to clearly define their learning and career mindset and adapt to the context of digital transformation.
