During the week of August 5-10, 2024, the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) in collaboration with the University of Education, Hue University, successfully organized the International Summer School in Mathematical Physics (VIASM Summer School in Mathematical Physics 2024). Within the framework of the National Key Program for the Development of Mathematics for the period 2021 - 2030, the VIASM Summer School in Mathematical Physics in Hue 2024 is a follow-up activity to the VIASM-IAMP Summer School in Mathematical Physics in Quy Nhon 2023 to promote the development of Mathematical Physics in Vietnam as well as Southeast Asian countries and the Asian region. The summer school attracted more than 70 participants, including more than 30 international scientists from 15 countries including the US, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Japan, Korea, China, India, etc. The students included undergraduate students, graduate students, university lecturers, and researchers from domestic and foreign schools and institutes. The Hue Mathematical Physics Summer School 2024 had the participation of three students, Tran Gia Khanh, Ly Truong Giang, and Khuu Tan Dat from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics. Through the introduction of Dr. Tran Minh Phuong from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, they won full funding from the Institute of Mathematics.
