The first Summer School for Scientific Research Interns from June 24-29, 2024 at The Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) has approved 52 students nationwide to participate. In the next 8 working weeks of the second period (from July 1 to August 23, 2024), students worked directly with lecturers on each separate topic. Students worked online or directly with lecturers and reported the results after each week. After the first and second periods ended, 11 instructors of the Summer School selected 22 outstanding students to present their research results at the third Summer School for Scientific Research Students held directly at the Central University of Construction, from August 26-30, 2024. Two students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Ly Truong Giang and Khuu Tan Dat, through the introduction of Dr. Tran Minh Phuong from the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, participated and were selected to present their research at the Summer School with the topic "Existence Results for Semilinear Fractional Elliptic Equations". After a week of exciting work, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded the prizes for the 2024 Summer School for Scientific Research Students, in which two students Ly Truong Giang and Khuu Tan Dat were awarded the third prize (individual). They are a source of motivation as well as a shining example of passion for mathematics for the next generations to follow.
