On May 25, 2024, students of the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Mathematics - Statistics together participated in the final round of the "Recursion Coding Game 2024" competition jointly organized by the two faculties.
Taking place from May 18, 2024 to May 25, 2024 and through three rounds, "Recursion Coding Game 2024" is a competition to students who are capable and passionate about programming to join the team, preparing advancing to the upcoming Student Informatics Olympiad in Hanoi.
In the final round, 40 students from both Faculties did not hesitate to face difficult challenges from math problems that required both problem solving and programming skills. After 180 minutes of competition, both professional and non-professional groups found the students with the highest scores to award prizes. The competition is an opportunity for students to compete with competitors who are better than themselves, turning opponents into teammates, thereby learning and improving together.
At the closing ceremony of the competition, leaders of the two faculties awarded prizes to students with high achievements in the final round in both specialized and non-specialized divisions. Below are some recorded images.
