In response to the development trends in data science and information analysis, the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics was established and developed to train high-quality human resources, contributing to promoting research and application in many fields of life and society.
With an educational program designed to provide graduates with a solid foundation in modern mathematics, basic statistics, and computer science, students can work in fields requiring mathematical thinking, become statistical experts, or teach mathematics or computer science in high schools or colleges.
With the goal of developing into a world-class research university, TDTU in general and the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics in particular have established strong research groups and organized numerous international conferences, academic activities, and a Journal Club to promote the development of scientific and technological research.
